A life less ordinary

So it just occurred to me that on Thursday I will be traveling by myself to a town I've never been to with no plan of action or important reason to be there. I have very little experience in that area. I probably should be feeling some trepidation or uneasiness, but no, all I feel is pure unadulterated giddiness. I'm having trouble sleeping at night in anticipation, I'm having trouble concentrating at work, but to be fair that's nothing new. I can't freaking wait.

Happily, I've done well in building the bankroll since I got the monkey off my back and made enough to go. I probably won't have to donk around at the lowest of games, rather going a level up. I've got a hotel room, I shall not be a homeless bum, and an absolutely free schedule. I certainly want to play in a tourney or two at some point, since I got to the trip too late to enter the WPBT, but other than that I am up for just about any damn thing.
